Missy Bertz, Owner of Rock Star Performance Horses, specializes in English and Western Pleasure for youth and amateurs showing in WSCA, Pinto, APHA, & AQHA breed shows. Missy takes horses in for full- and part-time training, including colt starting, tune-ups, and putting the finishing touches on the all-around show horse, all while giving individual lessons to her students.

Rock Star Performance Horses 2013 LogoMissy’s students range from beginning riders just entering the sport to advanced riders competing at World Show and Congress level breed shows. Her goal is to teach her students how to efficiently and quietly communicate with their horses to create the best possible team. Missy’s lesson program also includes use of well-trained lesson and lease horses located at Exclusive Equine Center for those wishing to learn how to ride with the goal of showing.

Angie Bartholomew, Equine Operations Manager/InstructorAngiePhoto3

Angie Bartholomew is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Crookston’s Equine Science Program. She began at EEC as a full time assistant trainer and instructor to continue to hone her skills and knowledge. She took over managing the facility in 2016 and continues to instruct.

One of Angie’s passion is teaching the beginning rider from three years old and up. She says that seeing the ‘light bulb’ go off in one of her students is one of the most rewarding moments as an instructor.
